Director of Family Ministries
Ellen has lived in Johns Creek for the past 18 years, the longest she’s ever stayed in one place! Coming from a military family, she has lived in Europe and traveled to all but 10 of our United States. She is a graduate of Auburn University (BA Psychology/Speech Communication) and currently works for Fulton County Schools. Ellen has 4 children, ranging in age from 28 to 12, and a 2-year-old grandson, all of whom keep her on her toes and in touch with the world through many different perspectives.
Ellen began teaching religious education the same year that she graduated from high school, and she has never stopped. She has been a teacher at all levels, from pre-school through young adults. While each age-group offers unique challenges and rewards, she believes that helping parents provide a solid faith foundation for their young children, is one of the most valuable gifts the church has to offer. She is humbled, but excited, to be called to lead Family Ministries at St. Aidan’s.
Carol has been with St. Aidan’s since July 2014. Prior to coming St. Aidan’s she worked for another church for 14 years where she was responsible for membership database, bulletins and newsletters, and much more . She graduated from SUNY Potsdam in upstate New York and has a degree in Art History/Art Studio.
Carol has been a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church in Roswell for over twenty years where she raised her three, now adult, children. She is a member there of the Altar Guild and Daughters of the King.
