Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel provides a simplified version of the Sunday service for children ages 3-10 (must be potty trained). We have a wonderful volunteer team of seven leaders who rotate Sundays, helping each other to provide the best experience for our children in learning about God’s love. Units have included a study of the Ten Commandments and the Advent Wreath. It is our hope that offering a continuity of lessons will increase interest and attendance. The lead for this ministry is now Pam Steman. Coloring materials are now being supplied in the cart in the back of the church for children to use during services.
Choristers
The Choristers of St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church offers musical excellence, self-discipline, and social development to all children from 2nd to 6th grade. The goal of the chorister program is to uplift the spiritual life of our communities through high quality choral music for children.
The Choristers meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45AM-10:30 AM in the Parish Hall.
Every rehearsal will begin with a vocal warm-up, followed by learning and practicing upcoming songs. After a brief recess, choristers will then receive music theory instruction, a graduated curriculum where they will learn music fundamentals and how to read music at sight. Sunday Services: Choristers will sing quarterly Sunday a.m. services with occasional special events on selected Sunday afternoons. This is a vital part of the experience, giving the singers a deep satisfaction and rewarding experience.

Vacation Bible School
In 2025, we will offer Vacation Bible School from Monday, June 16th through Friday, June 20th. Hours are 9:00 AM to noon eacjh day. Here is a recap of last year’s program:
Vacation Bible School Lovingkindness Luau ran M-F June 3-7, 2024, from 9a-12p. There were 15 children who attended and 18 adults who volunteered during the week. Several children sang a musical offering at the Peace on Sunday, June 9th. Each day the kids heard a Bible story, did a Lovingkindness in action service project, ate a delicious snack, did a yoga practice, played games, did crafts and sang some lovely songs. We folded 100 Operation Christmas child boxes, decorated, packed, and delivered care packages for nurses at the hospital, and painted and placed kindness rocks in the garden of the church grounds. St. Aidan’s church family came together with volunteers of all generations to love and care for the children of our church andcommunity. We are looking forward to VBS in the coming summer.
