Bible Study

Come take an in-depth look at Sunday’s readings and the themes of the day.  This class will greatly enhance your worship experience and help you keep Sunday lessons closer to your heart.  We will meet in the cathedral room.

Blessing of the Skinned Knee, with The Rev. Rebekah Bokros Hatch
The hustle and bustle of life, school, work, extra-curricular activities can easily overshadow one of our primary roles as parents: to raise a faithful child.  With the demands and expectations our society places on families, this priority gets shifted further and further down the list, despite our desire to do otherwise.  Join us for 4 weeks as we look at how to frame our family life in a more faithful way.  Using Wendy Mogel’s The Blessing of the Skinned Knee, we’ll gain some insight into raising faithful, self-reliant, compassionate and ethical children.  We meet in the library.

Weekday Bible Study

Be DOERS of the Word, not just hearers! Learn how by studying with us The Letter of James in a 6-week Bible Study, either Tuesday mornings in the library (Sept. 5 to Oct. 12) at 9:30 or Wednesday nights (Sept. 6—Oct. 13) at 7:30 to pray and study over the letter of James, who writes of ‘faith and works’, or ‘mercy triumphing over judgment.’
